O2 UK / Contact Sales and Marketing (CSM)
CSM provide an outsourced service to the O2 Sales and Marketing Division, Slough. pH Software Consultants Ltd has worked in partnership with CSM to provide the IT requirements of this contract. We support three Windows 2000 Servers, on behalf of Contact Sales and Marketing Ltd from our office in St. Davids. These servers run a mixture of stand-alone and Internet applications built by pH Software Consultants Ltd. These are summarised below.
Device Loan system (ELoan): Web based on-line database system providing geographically dispersed Dealers with ability to enter requests for device evaluation and loan. This application then passes through various stages, viewable by various Admin staff, such that they can progress the evaluation request to final contract stage.
Issue logging and tracking system (EService): Web based on-line database system providing geographically dispersed Dealers with the ability to enter issues and requests directed to O2 Help staff for resolution. This application then passes through various stages, viewable by various Admin and Help Desk staff, such that they can progress the request to final completion and customer satisfaction.
3G Product Ordering and Contract Management System :
web based on-line database system providing geographically dispersed Dealers with
ability to enter detailed customer requirements for 3G mobile phone products. This
application then passes through various stages, viewable by various Admin staff,
such that they can progress the order to final contract stage. Typical stages would
be Dealer Admin approval, Credit Risk Management approval, Price variation review/approval
etc. An online contract (Adobe PDF) is constructed for the Dealer to print, sign
and return to Contract Admin, who would then update the system and despatch the
products.
Management Information System : Web based on-line database
system providing remote access to detailed data summaries. Management staff can
access their corporate data from wherever they are. This includes statistical sales
data, field staff call data, tracking of ongoing issues, tracking of ongoing updates/projects.
Field Information System : Web based on-line database
system; using HTML, ASP .NET and SQL Server 2000; that presents details of commercial
sales outlets to field staff via a Pocket PC. Field staff can interrogate and update
the database with visit data which is immediately available and actionable to the
Administration team at the central site.
Distance Learning : Web based on-line database system;
using HTML, VB Web classes and Microsoft Access 2000; that presents regular (monthly)
questionnaires on product updates and technology changes. Field staff then answer
and submit questionaires online for scoring. Results are reported back to the field
personnel as well as management staff for possible prize awards.
Stock Management/Order System : Web based on-line database
system; using HTML, VB Web classes and Microsoft SQL Server; to allow Warehouse
managers to reflect current stock levels of products and an on-line order entry
system for field staff to place orders for them.
Online Ordering for Point of Sales products : Web based
on-line order entry system; using HTML, VB Web classes and Microsoft SQL Server;
to allow retail outlet managers and staff to order point of sale products from the
central warehouse.
Telesales Call Centre System : Development of a Telesales
system that would support a central call centre team sourcing appointments for field
sales staff. Visual Basic application using Microsoft SQL Server.
Call History and Key Performance Indicators System :
Development of a Call History and Key Performance Indicators database for the management
of sales of mobile phones to countrywide retail outlets by field staff. Visual Basic
application using Microsoft Access 2000.

reporting and follow-up of personal injury claims.

of client/server solution for the utilities section of Hyder Services (Welsh Water,
Electricity & Gas).

Custodial Securities Management Support Systems : Provision of client/server solutions for the Securities Management department giving added functionality to the mainframe RoyStock 2000 system providing securities custodial services. All projects encompassed the full development cycle and included: a Securities Fee Billing/Invoicing system; a Securities Fee(s) Accruals system; an Accounts Payable system; a Pending/Failed Trades reporting system; a Stock Reconciliation system; a Company Meetings (AGM’s etc..) reporting system.
